Get your money for nothin', get your BALLS IN THERE for free

In honor of Jersey's old state tax, we're giving a 6% buy-in bonus for all those that arrive before 1915 and mention said offer. That's quarter after seven in the evening for those that can't subtract by 12. A measly six percent might not sound like much, but that ought to help cover your gas money, a free lap dance, maybe even a nasty Jersey Hooker.

But beware the Jersey Hookers, I hear they're bad for your karma.

The Bad Beat Jackpot is up to $2,464. Lose a hand with AAAJJ (or better) at showdown when you and your opponent use both hole cards, and you're looking at 50% to free-roll your self into another bad beat. 25% goes to the best hand, remaining 25% goes to anyone else dealt into the hand.

If we're lucky, we'll catch some of the big winners from the Fish Tank that played the $1/$3 NL Sunday game. Be sure to check out that game if you ever get the chance. I'm gonna ride Pops' case until he convinces himself to miss a Thursday of work to come out and play our game. We might get Floppy Joe if he's in the mood. Everyone's favorite Crazy Indian made an appearance at Pops' game on Saturday, he may show up as well. If we can drag Superdave away from Atlantic City, he'll show, too.

Drop me an e-mail or leave a comment on here if you're interested in playing. There will also be a thread on the Maryland Poker Forums to track attendance.

Come on out and get your balls in there. See ya Wednesday.

Return of the Donki

That's pronounced Donk-eye... Star Wars... eh, Nevermind, I just woke up.

Bessman came back out last night. He made a couple of bucks and helped get the number of $100+ pots to 57. This puts the Bad Beat Jackpot at $2,430.

We filled up early and had a hard time busting any one of the players. Keenan and E-Honda took turns passing the Ketchup bottle back and forth while they were playing Heinz Poker.

Georgia Ave made the long jouney from Da Redbricks of N. Canada to sit at the table and brutalize and confuse all in attendance. Someone said something to him about "I thought Blue raised alot, you're more relentless than he is."

Five Fingerz was forced to wear a helmet because the deck was hitting him over the head so damn bad. Set vs Overpair, flush over flush, gimme your stack, gimme your stack, gimme your stack. Fun to watch, must of been rough to play against.

I'm surprised I'm awake as early as Noon on a Thursday. Just barely missed the 1130 bus up to AC. We're most likely going to head up there later today, coming back next Mon/Tues or so.

But, after we come back - game on! Not sure if any of you remember my sheppard's pie that I made a long long time ago, but without objections, I'll hook it up.

Cards in the air at 1900 next Weds. If you've got any questions, call the Trop Poker Room and ask for Noelle or Travis. You could also just leave a comment on here, send me an e-mail or talk to Keenan.

See ya at the next one! Thanx again to those that keep our game going strong!

Please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times...

And then get your balls in there!

Grabbed the 0430 Greyhound out of AC this morning and by 0915 we had been to the Giant and back to pick up groceries. Let your mouths water as you prepare for Nelly's scrumptious Taco Pie.

We had roughly 67 pots over $100 last Weds night, this puts the Bad Beat Jackpot at $2,377. All you've got to do is make AAAJJ (or better) and lose the pot to a better hand when both players use both hole cards. Best hand gets 25% of the Jackpot, runner-up gets 50%, anyone else dealt into the hand splits up the remaining 25%.

Last I heard, we've already got a solid starting set of players. Please don't confuse that with a starting set of solid players. Donkeys abound, to include E-Honda, Keenan, Blue and Andie, Georgia Ave, et al.

Atlantic City?? What's Atlantic City Got That You Can't Find at The Poker Corral?

Travis and Noelle are playing the Borgata tournaments until Tuesday night, but that doesn't mean we can't still get ready for the ridiculousness that is the Wednesday Night Poker Corral!

The game is on as usual, and cards are in the air at 1900 (that's 7pm)! We've got Trav in the box, and you know Nelly's gonna whip up something spectacular on the stove. And you know the usual donkeys will be there (Ehonda, KiKi, Blue, and the whole crew)...so come on out and get some of the action.

Call me (301.461.2163), send me an AIM message (DJ BONY B), or send me a smoke signal if you must...but GET YOUR BALLS IN THERE!

See ya Wednesday!
